Dr. Jaime Dodd is based in St. Louis, Missouri, and has more than 25 years of specialized experience in the field of Montessori education. She is a member of a very small, executive leadership team responsible for the operation of a private network of independent schools across the greater Midwest (infant-middle school) and a MACTE-accredited, AMS-affiliated, Montessori teacher education program located in Lake Saint Louis, MO.

Dr. Dodd’s administrative experience is steeped in the development, governance, and operation of high-level Montessori, early childhood programs, Montessori teacher education programs, and top-tier traditional, elementary school environments.

Special Interests

Dr. Dodd’s interests are concentrated on applied research in the expansion of Montessori theory and philosophy within Islamic, early childhood, educational settings. This served as impetus for the founding of the American Islamic Montessori Association (AIMA) in 2018. The AIMA is a professional membership organization for the advancement of Islamic Montessori Education [IME] as a bridge for understanding, for education, and for peace across the U.S. and around the globe.

Giving Back

Dr. Dodd serves on the board and in other leadership capacities for select, non-profit organizations, focused primarily on educational, humanitarian and healthcare concerns.
