Submission Guidelines

AIMA Publication Submission Guidelines

The following Guidelines are provided to help insure that every submission will receive equal attention, regard, and consideration for publication (print or electronic) by the AIMA. Please note that all articles and essays submitted for publication are reviewed by AIMA’s Editorial Advisory Board.

  • Writing submissions absolutely must be the original work of the author. Integrity is paramount; plagiarism will not be tolerated. It will result in the definitive disqualification of a work for publication and may result in the rejection of future submissions. The AIMA Editorial Advisory Board reserves the right to refuse future work by a given author, on this basis.
  • Exclusive submissions are strongly preferred. If you are presenting original work to more than one publication, please inform us upon submission.
  • The preferred, estimated length of compositions is between 1500-3000 words.
  • Submission format guidelines are firm and failure to adhere to them will result in the return of your work. All submissions must present as follows:
    • Word document
    • Double-spaced
    • 12-point font
    • 1” margins
    • Each page numbered a top, right
  • By submitting an article or essay for review and possible inclusion in an AIMA publication(s) and/or on the AIMA website, the author:
    • agrees to adhere to the AIMA Code of Ethics,
    • attests to the originality of the submitted work, and
    • hereby confers to AIMA unrestricted rights of reproduction and publication.
